Implementation of Two-Mode Gaussian States Whose Covariance Matrix Has the Standard Form

چکیده

This paper deals with the covariance matrix (CM) of two-mode Gaussian states, which, together mean vector, fully describes these states. In (ordinary) CM is a real symmetric order 4; therefore, it depends on 10 variables. However, there very efficient representation called standard form (SF) that reduces degrees freedom to four variables, while preserving all relevant information state. The SF can be easily evaluated using set symplectic invariants. starts from SF, introducing an architecture implements primitive components given state having SF. consists beam splitter, followed by parallel two single–mode squeezers, another splitter. advantage this gives precise non-redundant physical meaning generation Essentially, contained in simple architecture.
